The Dragon Fruit flowers bloom at night and only last a day but the abundant nectar and pollen attract many species of pollinators..

You always know when the Dragon fruits are ripe, Spotted catbirds (Ailuroedus melanotis) get there first. Catbirds are strong enough to open the fruit, once open many honeyeaters join the feast.

Bioluminescent Ghost Fungus (Omphalotus nidiformis) add interest when looking for frogs and snakes at night.
