Black Kites (Milvus migrans)

Feeding kites at the local beach. A third bird picked up the fish from the sand and dropped it in the shallows. These two swooped in for the prize, it was a close contest.

Red Bellied Black Snake (Pseudechis porphoriacus)
eating Major Skink (Bellatorias frerei)

This very unusual sighting was at the top of the beach outside of the habitat for both species. It is unclear if the snake killed the lizard on the beach or found it dead.

White Lipped (Giant) Tree Frog
(Litoria infrafrenata)

The monsoon arrived exactly on time this year in late December and has been very active, so far in excess of 3 metres of rain. Great time for frogs.
